The Galaxy Watch Active 2 has just been officially introduced. Traditionally, Samsung also published a couple of brand new promo videos for the fresh wearable. They’re edited in the same style as the Galaxy Tab S6 promos, with one of them being titled “A Day with the Galaxy Watch Active 2.”
Both promo videos feature chef and entrepreneur Roy Choi who became popular thanks to his Korean-Mexican taco truck food chain Kogi. He shares that he has been running his businesses using mostly his smartphone and smartwatch, and claims to have been an early adopter of the original Galaxy Watch Active.
S Health has improved and will get even better
One of the video’s highlights is the fact that the Galaxy Watch Active 2 comes with a better version of S Health. The smartwatch can track 39 workouts and tracking should now be faster thanks to improved sensors. This year, Samsung stepped up its game further by embedding an ECG sensor into the wearable; however, it will remain disabled until the FDA approves it. Once that happens, the Galaxy Watch Active 2 will become an even better tool for monitoring one’s health.
The Galaxy Watch Active 2 will release in two sizes and various colors and color combinations later this month. Will you buy one? Are you already an owner of the first Watch Active? Has using a smartwatch changed your daily life in significant ways? Let us know in the comment section below.
