We are just a week away from the announcement of the Galaxy Z Flip 6 and the Galaxy Z Fold 6. If there were any doubts regarding their charging speeds, new information hints that Samsung won't bring any charging speed boost to its upcoming foldable phones.
Galaxy Z Fold 6's charging speed limited to 25W once again
The Galaxy Z Fold 6's Chinese version, which carries model SM-W9025, has received the CCC certification. Information in the certification reveals that the device has 25W (11V & 2.25A) fast wired charging. This is the same as the Galaxy Z Fold 2, Galaxy Z Fold 3, Galaxy Z Fold 4, and Galaxy Z Fold 5.
So, Samsung is not increasing the battery capacity or the charging speed of the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Hopefully, the company will improve its design and display enough to make it seem like a worthy upgrade. The improvements to its battery life might only come with its new processor and a more power-efficient screen.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 reportedly features slightly shorter and wider screens with thinner bezels. The inner screen on the foldable phone reportedly features a less visible crease, and the device has a frame with titanium side rails for added strength.
Samsung has reportedly equipped the Galaxy Z Fold 6 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, 12GB RAM, and 256GB/512GB/1TB storage. It also features a 10MP selfie camera, a 50MP primary rear camera, a 12MP ultrawide camera, and a 10MP telephoto camera. It could continue to use the same 4MP under-display camera as its predecessor.
It will run Android 14-based One UI 6.1.1 out of the box and get up to seven years of Android OS and security updates. It has a 4,400mAh battery, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, stereo speakers, and an IPX8 rating for water resistance.
