Samsung's new Galaxy S24 flagship phones have added a new photo mode in Expert RAW, which allows users to capture images in 24-megapixel resolutions.
Is it a coincidence that the Galaxy S24 series enables 24MP photography in Expert RAW? Yes, most likely, it is. And, just as a fun fact, Apple's iPhones have enabled 24MP ahead of Samsung.
But more importantly, there is one main reason why you may want to use the 24MP shooting mode on the Galaxy S24 series instead of the usual 12MP and 50MP modes. We briefly touch on that reason in our latest short TikTok video below. It has to do with dynamic range, but check out the clip for more details.
Oh, and, if you want more info on how to capture 24MP photos with your new Galaxy S24, S24+, or S24 Ultra, hit this link and check out our 24MP shooting guide.
