Samsung is kicking off the Samsung 837/NEXT event for members of its Web3 community both IRL and metaverse in collaboration with Noun, an open-source art project that helps to improve on-chain avatar communities. Thanks to Noun, Samsung is taking the customization game to the next level across Samsung 837X in Decentraland, Samsung 837 in New York City, and the Samsung US server in Discord.
Samsung fans will be able to customize their Noun avatars by changing their background, body, accessories, head, and glasses. These avatars will act as building blocks for a larger NFT masterpiece, giving you a chance to own the finished NFT mosaic. Also, Samsung has partnered with So Youn Lee, a Korean contemporary artist based in Los Angeles, to help create this NFT masterpiece representing Samsung's multiverse community.
All of Samsung’s 837/NEXT, artists, creators, and emerging technology innovators will be able to customize their Noun avatars, which will be added to the final NFT art. Guests at Samsung 837 in New York can emote to create their Nouns. They will get the opportunity to win rare 837/NEXT wearables. Discord guests will also have a chance to get their hands on special prizes.
Contributors, alongside having a chance to win the final NFT mosaic, would also get the opportunity to win Samsung 837/NEXT participation badges. A few lucky winners could receive a pair of Nouns glasses, an 837/NEXT artist’s jumpsuit wearable, and only one winner will receive the ultra-rare Golden Glasses.
