Back in August, we learned that Samsung is developing its own cryptocurrency exchange platform and that the company will bring the new service to the market in 2023. While we still await further development on the matter, Samsung has shaken hands with one of the leading cryptocurrency exchange platforms, Crypto.com, to offer users a cryptocurrency app that fully utilizes large foldable screens on the Galaxy Z Fold series smartphones.
In a new press release, Crypto.com announced that it has collaborated with Samsung to optimize the Crypto.com app for Samsung’s book-style foldable devices. The latest version of their Android app (v3.158.1) will make better use of the foldable screen on the Galaxy Z Fold, Fold 2, Fold 3, and Fold 4 to show more information at once, increasing user productivity, multitasking, and ultimately deliver “enhanced trading and analysis capabilities”.
New Crypto.com app better utilises large screen on Galaxy Z Fold
According to Crypto.com, their new app on Galaxy Z Fold smartphones will have “more tools and resources immediately available on one single screen, such as the ability to compare a range of tokens simultaneously and more easily than on any other mobile device”. The latest version of the Crypto.com app is live on Play Store and you can get it by navigating to Play Store > Profile icon > Manage apps & device and clicking on the Update all button.
“This collaboration with Samsung will allow users to experience our app like never before”, said Eric Anziani, President and COO of Crypto.com, commenting on the release of their new app. “Together, Samsung and Crypto.com have optimized the Crypto.com App for the large screen experience, taking advantage of the foldable form factor, to bring a more productive way of using the app for the trading and analysis of cryptocurrencies,” he added.
If you are into cryptocurrency, Samsung also offers Blockchain Keystore, an app to securely and conveniently store private keys for cryptocurrency transactions. The company recently updated this app with more features and UI enhancements.
