If you're even a little familiar with video games, chances are you've at least heard of Cyberpunk 2077. If not for its ambitious scope, then at least for its troubled launch. Or maybe because of Elon Musk's early ties with the game, which inspired the Tesla Cybertruck.

Speaking of the game's troubled launch, developer CD Projekt Red has continued to patch the game over the years, and today, October 22, Cyberpunk 2077 is getting a new update.

The good news for ass is that CD Project Red's latest release adds support for the Odyssey 3D monitor, which is one of Samsung's most unique gaming peripherals.

You don't need 3D glasses, choom

The initiative was originally announced by Samsung earlier this year, when the company revealed that the Odyssey 3D monitor would soon support more than 120 games.

Thanks to CD Projekt Red's new Edgerunners 2 update — also known as version 2.5 — Cyberpunk 2077 is now one of those games that support the Odyssey 3D monitor.

At least on PC. The Cyberpunk 2077 Edgerunners 2 update is also rolling out on the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, but the Odyssey 3D monitor's 3D effects are available only for PC users. Console users can use the Odyssey 3D as a 2D monitor.

CD Projekt Red's other popular title, The Witcher 3, also received a massive remaster update recently, but Odyssey 3D monitor support wasn't included. As of now, only Cyberpunk 2077 supports Samsung's 3D monitor, and CD Projekt Red hasn't yet said anything about support for other games.
