Smart Select is one of the most iconic One UI features known by S Pen fans and later by nearly every Samsung Galaxy device user, with or without an S Pen.

This feature has been around for ages and went through a few makeovers, the most recent of which almost ruined everything.

Thankfully, Samsung fixed one of the major flaws the new AI-powered Smart Select suffered from. An improved version has been rolling out for the past couple of weeks.

In our latest video, which you can watch below or on our YouTube channel, we review not only Samsung's new AI-enabled Smart Select tool but also go back through the previous generations of phones and One UI to see everything that's changed.

Our video features the Galaxy S24 Ultra, the Galaxy Note FE (a.k.a. Galaxy Note 7), and the Galaxy S21 Ultra. Each phone runs a different version of Smart Select and One UI.
