The Galaxy Tab S7 flagship series took over the Android tablet market earlier this month but as exciting as the new series is, it's not for everyone, as even the base Galaxy Tab S7 model exceeds the $500 price point. The flagship tablet has a lot to offer so the price tag is deserved, but the point remains that if you're in the market for a new budget Galaxy tablet then you'll have to look elsewhere. Thankfully you might not have to look for long as the Galaxy Tab A7 could hit the shelves in mid-September for a much lower price, according to a Dutch retailer.
Centralpoint is now listing the Wi-Fi-only 32GB Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 online alongside a price of 235 euro including VAT. The same Dutch retailer also lists the 32GB Galaxy Tab A7 LTE for 293 euro, as well as the 64GB Wi-Fi and LTE models for 266 and 323 euro, respectively. Aside from revealing these tentative prices, the retailer claims that the tablet should arrive in stock on September 11.
Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 (2020) quick spec roundup
Samsung's budget-oriented Galaxy Tab A7 10.4 (2020) should be equipped with a 10.4-inch display with a resolution of 2000 by 1200, the Snapdragon 662 chipset paired with an Adreno 610 GPU, and 3GB of RAM. These details come from a previous Google Play Console listing so they should be accurate.
The tablet was also certified by regulatory bodies including the FCC, with documents revealing specs like Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi b/g/n/ac, a 7,040mAh battery, and dimensions clocking in at 247.6 x 157.36 x 293.37mm. We also expect the tablet to run Android 10 but the version of One UI is unknown. It's likely One UI 2.1 but it's unconfirmed.
