Samsung is quite late this year with the release of the One UI 7.0 update. Although the company released the first beta update for the Galaxy S24 series in December, its pace of fixing bugs has been quite slow. And this delay has killed a future One UI update.

One UI 7 delay has killed One UI 7.1 update

We have learned from our sources that the delay in the stable One UI 7.0 update release has forced Samsung to consider skipping One UI 7.1. So, Samsung's next foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Flip 7 and the Galaxy Z Fold 7, will likely be launched with One UI 7.0.1 onboard.

Moreover, Samsung will likely release the stable One UI 7.0 update to existing/older Galaxy phones with the launch of the Galaxy S25 Edge.

It was revealed a few days ago that Samsung is planning to release the Galaxy S25 Edge sometime in April. If that information is correct, the stable One UI 7.0 update could be released to the Galaxy S24 and other existing Galaxy phones and tablets in April.

You can watch One UI 7.0 and its new features that debuted with the Galaxy S25 in our video below.

A recent report claimed that Samsung is planning to bring some One UI 7 features, including Audio Eraser, that debuted with the Galaxy S25 series, to the Galaxy S24 series with the stable One UI 7.0 update.
