It has been six months since Samsung launched the Galaxy A11. The budget device has since been released in several markets across the globe. We hear that the company is now working on the successor of this device.
As you'd expect, Samsung Galaxy A12 is going to be another budget phone. It won't be drastically different compared to its predecessor but storage is one area where we'll see a big improvement.
Galaxy A12 to get more internal storage
We hear that the Galaxy A12, bearing model number SM-A125F, is now in development at Samsung. It's going to feature 32GB of storage on the base model with customers have the option to purchase it with 64GB internal storage as well. The Galaxy A11 only has 32GB storage.
Expect it to have the same LCD display as its predecessor as well as the triple camera system. The details of the Galaxy A12's camera setup are unknown at this time but it may not be that different from the 13MP primary, 5MP ultrawide and 2MP depth sensor found on the Galaxy A11. A capacitive fingerprint sensor is also present on the upcoming device.
No further details are available at this point. Perhaps Samsung might ship the device with a larger battery, at least larger than the Galaxy A11's 4,000mAh battery. Since the device has only just entered development it might take a few months before it sees the light of day. When it does, the Galaxy A12 will be offered in black, white, red and blue colors.
