On Samsung smartphones and tablets, not many people use the Galaxy Store for anything else other than downloading and updating the company’s apps. So, even if some of its main services are down, not many people would notice it and it won’t affect people majorly. That being said, the South Korean tech giant has just made an important announcement about downtime on the Galaxy Store that you should know about.
Samsung has announced that the Galaxy Store will not be able to process in-app purchases and a few promotions on the app distribution platform will not be available from 23:00 on 26 June 2024 to 01:00 on 27 June 2024 (GMT) globally as the company will be upgrading the Galaxy Store’s payment system during this period.
Apart from those things, all the other services on the Galaxy Store will be functional during that period, including browsing, purchasing, downloading, and updating applications. Furthermore, Samsung says “During the maintenance period, games and subscription services that the user already has can be used normally.”
