The Play Store has been continuously upgraded to allow users to quickly find the app for their devices. In September 2022, Google introduced the ‘Other Devices' section inside the Play Store to let users search for apps for smartwatches, TVs, and cars via their smartphones. To make things easier for Wear OS owners, Google is streamlining the Play Store and how you find games for your smartwatches.

Apparently, according to a report, opening the Play Store and heading to the ‘Other devices' section, which is located after ‘For you' and the ‘Top charts' tabs. Previously, Google only showed the ‘TV' category here. However, now you will see a new ‘Watch' category or tab appear in this section.

Google shows three sections: ‘Relax with games for your watch: Forget the time,' ‘Challenging games on the go: Win on your watch,' and ‘Essential watch apps.' Notably, there are a total of 26 game titles available to install on your Wear OS smartwatch. You can tap any of these games and install them on your Wear OS smartwatch from the Play Store.

To filter games, you can even use the ‘Your devices' filter to download apps for your watch. Although playing games on a small circular smartwatch screen isn't ideal, it could be handy if you want to kill some time. The Google Play Store's ‘Watch' tab for Wear OS games is appearing via a server-side update, and you don't need to do anything for it to appear.
