Samsung is already preparing a few new 5G low-cost smartphones for release in 2022, and the Galaxy M33 5G seems to be among them. According to our colleagues at GalaxyClub, the phone in question appears to carry model number SM-M336B, and it will likely have similar specs to the unannounced Galaxy A33.
As usual, the Galaxy M33 5G could go on sale in markets where the Galaxy A33 5G won't. They'll probably look alike and use the same internal hardware for the most part, but as yet, there's not much information to go by regarding either the Galaxy A33 or Galaxy M33.
It's logical to assume that the Galaxy M33 5G will at least ship with an improved chipset compared to the Galaxy M32 5G, though time will tell. It's also unclear if Samsung will only release a 5G version of the Galaxy M33 or if some markets will get LTE (and presumably a different non-5G chipset). Similarly, the company could also have plans for a Galaxy F33, though there are no signs of it yet.
We'll try digging up more information about the Galaxy M33 5G by the time it goes on sale, which we assume could happen anytime in the first half of 2022. You can sign up to our social media channels if you don't want to miss out on anything Samsung.
