Back in March, we learned that Samsung is developing a new M-series smartphone, the Galaxy M35, which will arrive as a slightly modified variant of the Galaxy A35. Since then, there have been many leaks about the device, which have revealed the phone’s features. Today, we have another leak of the Galaxy M35. Apart from shedding light on the device’s features and suggesting that Samsung could launch it very soon, it reveals the phone’s official image, giving us our first look at the upcoming M-series spin-off of the Galaxy A35.
Galaxy M35 spotted on Google Play Console
Google has listed the Galaxy M35 on Google Play Console (via YTechB). The listing has an image of the device. As you can see, the upcoming M-series device has a design similar to that of the Galaxy A35. However, the phone’s back panel has a different texture and color compared to its A-series sibling. The image also reveals that the Galaxy M35 will have three cameras at the rear and a punch-hole on the display for the front-facing camera.
According to the listing, the Galaxy M35 has the Exynos 1380 SoC, 6GB RAM, and Android 14, the same as the Galaxy A35, something that the listing of the device on Geekbench had revealed. Considering that Samsung has sent the phone to Google for certifications, the company could launch the Galaxy M35 soon. Speaking of which, the phone was recently spotted on BIS, which suggests that Samsung could launch it in the Indian market.
What to expect from Galaxy M35?
Expect the other specifications of the Galaxy M35 to be similar to those of the Galaxy A35. So, the phone should have a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. Among the three cameras at the rear, there will be a wide-angle camera with a 50MP sensor, PDAF, and OIS, an ultrawide-angle camera with 8MP resolution, and a macro camera with a 5MP sensor. For selfies, you might get a 13MP camera.

Usually, Samsung offers M-series smartphones with a larger battery pack than their A-series variants. As such, the Galaxy M35 could come with a 6,000mAh battery as opposed to the 5,000mAh unit in the Galaxy A35. Other features could include stereo speakers and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The Galaxy M35 might not be dust and water-resistant like the Galaxy A35 as it will be a more affordable device.
