The Galaxy A01 is getting a new software update in Russia. The update, which comes with firmware version A015FXXU5BUJ1, includes the October 2021 security patch. Samsung had revealed earlier this month that the October patch fixes for over 60 vulnerabilities found in Galaxy smartphones and tablets. The update could also include device stability improvements and general bug fixes.
If you are a Galaxy A01 user in Russia, you can download the latest software update for your smartphone by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
More markets could get access to the latest software update for the Galaxy A01 in the coming weeks. The entry-level smartphone debuted with Android 10 onboard, and it received the Android 11 update a few months ago.
