We had reported two months ago that Samsung was working on the Galaxy A02. Last month, we got to know that the Galaxy A02 and the Galaxy M02 are essentially the same devices. Now, the two entry-level smartphones have received necessary certifications and have inched closer to their launch. They are expected to carry sub-$150 price tags.
The Galaxy A02 (SM-A025F) and the Galaxy M02 (SM-M025F) have now received certification from the Wi-Fi Alliance. Supported documents reveal that both smartphones feature single-band Wi-Fi b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct, and run Android 10. The two devices received the Wi-Fi certification yesterday and could be launched soon.
Going by previous reports, the Galaxy A02 and the Galaxy M02 could debut with the Snapdragon 450 processor, 2GB/3GB RAM, 32GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. The two phones run Android 10 with One UI 2.0 and sport 5.7-inch HD+ screens. We can also expect the phones to feature an 8MP selfie camera, a 13MP+2MP dual-camera setup at the rear, and a 3,500mAh battery.
