Samsung started rolling out the stable Android 13 update to its smartphones in November 2022. High-end Galaxy smartphones and tablets were the first ones to get the One UI 5.0 update. The new software was gradually released to mid-range and affordable smartphones. The Galaxy A04 is now getting the Android 13 update.

The Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update for the Galaxy A04 is rolling out with firmware version A045FXXU1BWB1. The new software is currently available in Kazakhstan and could reach more markets over the next few weeks. The update also brings the December 2022 security patch to the smartphone to fix dozens of known security vulnerabilities.

If you are a Galaxy A04 user in Kazakhstan, you can download the Android 13 update on your phone immediately by heading to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.

Samsung debuted the Galaxy A04 six months ago with Android 12 onboard. Since the device has already started getting the Android 13 update, it could get at least one more Android OS update in the future, most probably the Android 14 update early next year.
