The Galaxy A33 and Galaxy A53 are probably the hottest Samsung mid-range phones right now, but the company has at least a couple more budget devices coming to the market this year. The rumored Galaxy A04s is one of them, and its alleged design just got leaked in high-resolution fan-made renders based on official specifications.
Samsung's unannounced mid-range phone has a unibody design, which means that instead of a metal frame separating the display and the rear panel, the back cover wraps around the phone's edges.
The back of the phone has three main cameras, and according to the unofficial renders below, each camera has its own individual cutout rather than all three of them residing on the same camera housing (via GizNext / @OnLeaks).
Another interesting detail highlighted by these renders is found at the lower edge of the phone, where it seems to feature a USB-C port as well as a standard 3.5mm headphone port.
However, keep in mind that these sorts of unofficial renders are often based on official case specifications rather than the phones they portray. They don't always match up with the final design.
There was a lot of confusion around the Galaxy S22 Ultra's alleged camera housing design last year because of how this type of renders are being produced. So, for all we know, the three rear-facing cameras of the Galaxy A04s could very well reside in a vertical strip similar to the Galaxy Note 10.
The Galaxy A04s could be a JDM device
The upcoming Galaxy A04s will reportedly feature a 6.5-inch display with a 720p HD+ resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It could conceal a MediaTek chipset and a 5,000mAh battery under the hood.
Not much else is known about the Galaxy A04s at this point, but previous reports from Korea suggest that it will be a JDM device, meaning it's developed using a Joint Development Production method.
The Galaxy A04s won't be manufactured at Samsung's manufacturing facilities but by partners from China. Galaxy devices like the A03, A03s, and A22 5G are JDM phones manufactured jointly by companies including Wingtech and Huaqin. The Galaxy A04s could follow a similar path.
