Galaxy A04s May 2023 security update: What's new?
The latest software update for the Galaxy A04s bumps up the phone's firmware version to A047FXXS4CWE1. The new security update is currently available in Thailand, and we expect more Asian countries to get the update soon. The new software includes the May 2023 security patch that fixes over 70 security flaws found in Samsung phones and tablets. It doesn't bring any new features or improvements.
If you have a Galaxy A04s and live in Thailand, you can now check for the new update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually using a Windows computer and the Odin tool.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A04s last year with Android 12 onboard. The device received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update earlier this year and the One UI 5.1 update two months ago.
