It looks like Samsung could soon launch a couple of affordable smartphones. Over the past few days, information about the Galaxy A05 and the Galaxy A15 has come to light. Yesterday, the design of the Galaxy A15 was leaked, showing Samsung's possible design language for its phones that will launch in 2025. Now, the design of the Galaxy A05 has leaked, along with some of its specifications.
The images of the Galaxy A05 have leaked, showcasing its design and color variants. MSPowerUser has published the images of the unannounced Galaxy A05. The phone reportedly features a 6.7-inch screen with HD+ resolution and an Infinity-U notch. On the rear, the phone has a 50MP primary camera and a 2MP depth camera. On the front, the phone has an 8MP selfie camera. The phone can record Full HD 30fps videos using front and rear cameras, as revealed in a previous leak.
The Galaxy A05 will be available in three colors: Black, Light Green/Mint, and Silver. The upcoming affordable phone will come equipped with the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, and a dedicated microSD card slot. The phone runs Android 13 out of the box. While it lacks 5G and a fingerprint reader, it has Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The phone will be launched in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
As leaked earlier, Samsung is powering the Galaxy A05 through a 5,000mAh battery. Earlier, it was assumed that the phone will have 15W fast charging. However, MSPowerUser claims that the Galaxy A05 has 25W fast charging, which is an upgrade over its existing affordable smartphones and tablets. Maybe Samsung will upgrade all its phones and tablets to a minimum of 25W fast charging starting next year.
