Two months ago, Samsung announced the Galaxy A05 and Galaxy A05s. The Galaxy A05s was also launched in India a few days ago. Now, the South Korean firm has launched the Galaxy A05 for the Indian market and announced the phone's pricing.
Galaxy A05 pricing in India
The Galaxy A05 is priced at INR 9,999 (around $120) in India for the version with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. The variant of the device with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage comes with a price tag of INR 12,499 (around $150). The device is available in three colors: Black, Light Green, and Silver. It is currently available through Croma, but it should be available through all authorized retailers eventually.
Galaxy A05 specifications
Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A05 with the MediaTek Helio G85 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, and 64GB/128GB internal storage. It has a microSD card slot, too. The device runs Android 13-based One UI 5.1 Core operating system and will get at least two major Android OS updates in the future. It has a 6.5-inch LCD screen with HD+ resolution.
On the rear, the Galaxy A05 has a 50MP primary camera with an F1.8 aperture and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie camera. The phone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. It has a dual-SIM card slot, 4G LTE, GPS, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
