As of this writing, the Galaxy A06 5G is the cheapest ticket to Android 15 and One UI 7. However, that ticket is not available for purchase everywhere. The Galaxy A06 5G took India by storm last month, and Samsung is slowly bringing it to more markets. Which one is next?
Today, Samsung confirmed the launch of the Galaxy A06 5G in Vietnam. The phone will be available in precisely one week, starting on March 28. Samsung will offer the Galaxy A06 5G in three memory configurations:
The Galaxy A06 5G does come with One UI 7, but being a budget phone, it doesn't offer the same experience as Samsung's premium flagships with One UI 7 or the pricier Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56. For starters, the Galaxy A06 5G doesn't have Advanced Intelligence features.
Samsung will support the Galaxy A06 5G with four major Android OS upgrades. Spec-wise, the budget phone has a 6.7-inch PLS LCD with a 90Hz refresh rate and a resolution of 720 x 1600, a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC, a 50MP primary camera paired with a 2MP macro shooter, and an 8MP selfie sensor.
The Galaxy A06 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging but lacks wireless charging capabilities. It features an IP54 dust and water resistance rating and a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
Unlike some of the pricier Galaxy A phones for 2025, the Galaxy A06 5G still has a 3.5mm headphone jack and expandable storage. It will be available in Vietnam in three colors: Midnight Black, Silver Gray, and Cream Blue.
If the Galaxy A06 5G isn't quite your cup of tea, you might want to consider spending a bit more for a better mid-range device. The Galaxy A36 and Galaxy A56 are also available in Vietnam (and other markets).
