Last month, we learned that Samsung is developing the Galaxy A06, which will arrive as a successor to the Galaxy A05. Last week, the phone was also spotted on Geekbench, which revealed the phone’s model number, processor, RAM capacity, cellular connectivity, and Android version. The Galaxy A06 has been spotted on the FCC, revealing the phone’s battery capacity, Wi-Fi version, and dimensions.
According to the FCC, the Galaxy A06 has a 5,000mAh battery, which is the same as the Galaxy A05. Next, the certification platform reveals that the phone has dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Lastly, according to one of the documents, the Galaxy A06 is 167.3mm tall and 77.31mm wide. In comparison, the Galaxy A05 is 168.8mm tall and 78.2mm wide. So, the upcoming model is slightly shorter and narrower than the current model, which means that it will have thinner bezels and will be easier to hold in the hand.

Previous leaks have revealed that the Galaxy A06 has the MediaTek Helio G80 processor, 4GB RAM, and Android 14 (most likely with One UI 6.1). Going by the model number (SM-A065F), it seems to top out at 4G LTE connectivity rather than 5G connectivity. Samsung had launched the Galaxy A05 in September 2023. Considering that, the company could launch the Galaxy A06 in September 2024.
