After releasing the December 2021 security update to the Galaxy F41, Samsung has released it to the Galaxy A11. The last security update of the year is currently rolling out in Brazil and it could reach other markets over the next few days.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A11 comes with firmware version A115MUBU2BUK4. It includes the December 2021 security patch designed to fix various privacy and security-related vulnerabilities. While we don't have the changelog for the update yet, it is usual for Samsung to include some device stability improvements and bug fixes with each new update.
If you are a Galaxy A11 user in Brazil, your smartphone might have already received the update. You can also check for the software update manually by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. To flash the firmware manually, you'll need to download the latest firmware file for your Galaxy A11 from our database and use a computer running Windows.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A11 in March 2020 with Android 10-based One UI 2. The smartphone received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update earlier this year. It will get the Android 12-based One UI 4 update next year.
