The South Korean variant of the device is receiving updates on SK Telecom, LG Uplus, and KT Corporation networks. The carrier-locked version of the device in the US is getting the update on US Cellular's network. Expect Samsung to roll out the update to remaining variants and other regions in the next few days.
Galaxy A12 could get Android 13 (One UI 5.0) soon
The Galaxy A12 received the Android 12 (One UI 4.0) update back in August 2022. Since the smartphone launched with Android 10 onboard, and it is supposed to get three Android OS updates, the device is eligible to get the Android 13 update (One UI 5.0). So far, Samsung has rolled out Android 13-based One UI 5.0 software to many smartphones, and you can expect the Galaxy A12 also to get it very soon. But a concrete date for the rollout isn't available yet.
