Samsung had unveiled the Galaxy A12 three months ago, and the phone went on pre-orders in Singapore and the UK last month. The company has now unveiled that it will start accepting pre-orders for the Galaxy A12 in South Korea from tomorrow.

The Galaxy A12 is priced at KRW 275,000 (around $245) in South Korea. The phone will be available in black and white colors, and it can be pre-ordered from 11 Street, Coupang, GMarket, and Samsung's own website. The phone will be available for pre-orders for 8 days before the official launch. Customers who pre-order the Galaxy A12 can get a 10% discount.

The Galaxy A12 features a 6.5-inch PLS IPS LCD Infinity-V display with HD+ resolution. It has an 8MP selfie camera that can record 1080p 30fps videos. The phone has a quad-camera setup at the rear, featuring a 48MP wide-angle camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP depth camera, and a 2MP macro camera. The rear camera can record 1080p videos, too.

Samsung has equipped the Galaxy A12 with the 12nm MediaTek Helio P35 processor, 3GB/4GB/6GB RAM, 32GB/64GB/128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. It has GPS, LTE, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The Galaxy A12 has a side-mounted fingerprint reader and comes pre-loaded with Android 10.

A 5,000mAh battery powers the Galaxy A12, and it is compatible with 15W fast charging.  Samsung is offering a two-month YouTube Premium subscription for free to those who buy the new phone. The device will be available in both carrier and unlocked variants in South Korea.
