Three weeks ago, the Galaxy A13 5G started getting the Android 13 update in Europe. Now, the update is expanding its presence to the US, and the carrier-locked version of the smartphone has started getting the update.
The Android 13 update for the Galaxy A13 5G's carrier-locked version is rolling out in the US with firmware version A136USQU3CVK9. Right now, the update is available on US Cellular's network, but we expect other carriers to release the update within the next few days. The update also brings the November 2022 security patch to the smartphone.
If you have the carrier-locked version of the Galaxy A13 5G and if you live in the US, you can check for the Android 13 update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung debuted the Galaxy A13 5G in late 2021 with Android 11 onboard. A few months ago, the smartphone received the Android 12-based One UI 4.1 update. Now, the device has received the Android 13 update. It may or may not get the Android 14 update next year.
