Right now, the Galaxy A22 5G is Samsung's cheapest 5G smartphone. However, it was revealed last month that the company wants to bring down the pricing of its 5G smartphones even further with the launch of the Galaxy A13 5G. Now, the first render images of the upcoming smartphone have surfaced on the internet.
The first set of 3D CAD-based render images of the Galaxy A13 5G have been published by Zuoton in collaboration with @OnLeaks. If these renders are accurate, the smartphone will have a simple design on the rear, featuring a triple-camera setup (50MP+5MP+2MP). There is no camera bump on the back. At the front, the device appears to have a 6.48-inch Infinity-V display (likely IPS LCD with Full HD+ resolution).
There is a side-mounted fingerprint reader that is embedded into the power button. The volume buttons are on the right side, while the USB Type-C port and the headphone jack are at the bottom. Going by previous reports, the phone will come equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 processor, 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB internal storage, and a microSD card slot. A 5,000mAh battery will power the device, and it supports 25W fast charging.
It is expected that Samsung will launch the Galaxy A13 5G before the end of 2022 with a starting price of $290 in the US. The device is expected to come in four color variants: Black, Blue, Red, and White.
