The Galaxy A13 has started getting Samsung's newest software update. The new update brings the March 2023 security update to the smartphone, but it is available only in one country right now.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A13 comes with firmware version A135MUBS2BWC4, and it is rolling out in Colombia. More Latin American countries could get access to the new update within the next few days. In other countries, where the Galaxy A13 received the January 2023 or February 2023 security patches, the phone might not get the March 2023 update as the phone is on the company's quarterly update schedule.
The March 2023 security patch fixes over 50 privacy and security vulnerabilities. The update might also include general bug fixes and device stability improvements. To update your phone to the latest software, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A13 in early 2023 with Android 12-based One UI 4 onboard. The phone received the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 update a few months ago. The phone could get the Android 14-based One UI 6 update later this year and probably one more update sometime towards the end of 2024.
