The Galaxy A14 is one of the three Galaxy A-series smartphones that Samsung is planning to launch in the next couple of months. According to various leaks, the company will launch the Galaxy A14 in 4G and 5G versions. The 5G version of the device received the Bluetooth SIG certification last month, and now, the 4G variant has received it too.
The model numbers of Samsung's 5G smartphones end with ‘6,' and model numbers of 4G versions end with ‘5'. Two variants of the Galaxy A14 5G were spotted on the Bluetooth SIG platform today: SM-A145P and SM-A145R. Since the model numbers of both variants end with ‘5', they are the 4G versions of the Galaxy A14. The certification reveals that the phone has Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity, but that’s about it.
Fortunately, previous leaks of the device have given us a pretty good idea about what to expect from it. According to them, the Galaxy A14 will be the first smartphone to feature the Exynos 1330 processor. However, a few regions might also get the device with the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. The phone will feature a 5,000mAh battery, but its charging speed is still unknown. Samsung will launch it in three colors: Black, Dark Red, and Light Green.
The Galaxy A14 will have a 6.8-inch IPS LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate. There will be three cameras at the rear, and the primary sensor will have a 50MP resolution. Since Samsung has decided to drop depth sensors for its future smartphones, expect the other two cameras on the back of the Galaxy A14 to be ultrawide and macro units. The front-facing camera of the device is expected to be a 16MP sensor.
