Samsung started rolling out One UI 6.1 to the company’s smartphones and tablets with high-end devices, towards the end of March. Almost two months later, the brand is making the new software available to affordable Galaxy phones as the tech giant has just released One UI 6.1 for the Galaxy A14 5G.
Samsung has released One UI 6.1 to the international variant of the Galaxy A14 5G, which carries the model number SM-A146P, in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. Some of the countries where the latest software update is live are Morocco, South Africa, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Tunisia, Vietnam, Sauda Arabia, and UAE.
The software update that brings One UI 6.1 to the Galaxy A14 5G carries the firmware version A146PXXU7DXD3. To download the update, go to Settings » Software update » Download and install. The new firmware is also available in our database. You can download it from there and install it manually
What features does One UI 6.1 bring to Galaxy A14 5G?
One UI 6.1 brings many new features to the Galaxy A14 5G. Some of the highlights include the ability for you to copy content from one image and paste it into another, customize the alarm alert screen, share your location with other people using Samsung Find My, see more options in Samsung Health, and open all minimized apps at once.
One UI 6.1 also packs Galaxy AI, which is a collection of features powered by artificial intelligence, including the ones to edit images, research a topic, translate content, and summarize content. These features could come in very handy in day-to-day life. Unfortunately, Galaxy AI isn’t part of One UI 6.1 for Galaxy A14 5G.
