While Samsung is busy rolling out the One UI 6.1 update to millions of Galaxy S, Galaxy Tab S, and Galaxy Z series devices, it hasn't forgotten to release new security updates to its affordable and mid-range phones. The latest phone to get the March 2024 update is the Galaxy A15 5G.
Galaxy A15 5G gets March 2024 security update in Europe
The new software update for the Galaxy A15 5G is now available in all European countries. The update comes bearing firmware version A156BXXS1AXC1 and has a relatively small download size. It brings the March 2024 security patch that fixes around 44 security vulnerabilities that were discovered in the previous software version.
If you have a Galaxy A15 5G and live in Europe, you can now check for the new software update on your phone. You can do that by opening the Settings app on your phone, navigating to Software update, and tapping Download and install. You can also download the new firmware file from our database and flash it manually using the Odin tool.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A15 5G a few months ago. The phone debuted alongside the Galaxy A25 5G in some countries. It came with Android 14-based One UI 6.0 pre-installed. It will get at least two major Android OS updates. It could get the One UI 6.1 update (without AI features) in a few months from now, and you can watch those features in our video below.
