Galaxy A15 was Samsung's best-selling and world's fourth best-selling phone in Q2 2024
The Galaxy A15 5G was Samsung's best-selling smartphone in Q2 2024, according to a new report from Counterpoint Research. Samsung captured five spots in the world's top ten best-selling smartphones list. The Galaxy A15 5G ranked fourth, while the Galaxy A15 4G ranked fifth.
The Galaxy A55 ranked seventh, while the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the Galaxy A06 ranked ninth and tenth, respectively.
In comparison, the Galaxy A14 4G was Samsung's best-selling smartphone last year. In Q2 2023, the Galaxy A14 5G (fifth), Galaxy A54 (sixth), Galaxy A14 5G (seventh), Galaxy S23 Ultra (eighth), Galaxy A04e (ninth), and Galaxy A34 (tenth) were Samsung's best-selling phones.
Samsung has been trying to sell more pricier phones than in previous years. If you look at the Galaxy phones that appeared in the list, Samsung seems to have a higher average selling price than last year.
The iPhone 15 was the world's best-selling smartphone. The iPhone 15 Pro Max ranked second, while the iPhone 15 Pro ranked third. The iPhone 14 ranked sixth on the list. Xiaomi made the list for the first time, with the Redmi 13C 4G ranking eighth.
