Two months after getting the December 2021 security patch, the Galaxy A21s has started getting a new security update. Samsung has started rolling out the February 2022 security update to the smartphone in Colombia and Mexico. More Latin American countries could get the update soon.
The newest software update for the Galaxy A21s (SM-A217M) comes with firmware version A217MUBS8CVB1 in Mexico and includes the February 2022 security patch to fix over 60 vulnerabilities. In Colombia, the smartphone is getting the new security update with firmware version A217MUBS8CVB1. The new software could also bring bug fixes and stability improvements.
If you are a Galaxy A21s user in any of the countries mentioned above, you can check for the new OTA update by heading over to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A21s in 2020 with Android 10 onboard. The smartphone received the Android 11-based One UI 3.1 update last year and is expected to get the Android 12 update a few months down the line.
