Samsung has the One UI 6 (Android 14) update ready to go for yet another mid-range phone. The company is rolling out the update to the Galaxy A23 5G in some European markets, including the UK, France, Italy, Poland, and Portugal.
The update is accompanied by firmware version A236BXXU4DWKA and is bundled with the November 2023 security patch. Android 14 is the final major OS upgrade for the Galaxy A23 5G, though it is likely to receive One UI 6.1 next year before Samsung switches to providing only security updates for the device.
For the LTE variant of the Galaxy A23, Android 13 is still the latest OS version available, but it probably won't be long before it also starts getting Android 14. Once the update is released for the Galaxy A23 or Galaxy A23 5G in your country, you will be able to download it over the air by tapping the Download and install option in the phone's Settings » Software update menu.
Android 14 firmware for the Galaxy A23 5G and other Galaxy devices that are eligible for One UI 6 can also be downloaded from our firmware archive and installed on the device using a Windows PC and a USB cable.
