After launching the Galaxy A23 in March 2022, Samsung is now planning to launch the 5G version of the smartphone. The device will have a different chipset altogether, considering that the Snapdragon 680 chipset inside the Galaxy A23 lacks support for 5G networks.
A new report claims that the Galaxy A23 5G will land in Europe with a price tag of €300. The smartphone will reportedly feature 64GB of storage and come in at least three colors: Black, Light Blue, and White. Previous leaks have revealed that the upcoming smartphone will come equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 chipset.
The Galaxy A23 5G could feature a triple-camera on the rear, featuring a 50MP primary sensor. The phone's FCC listing has already revealed that it will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports up to 25W fast charging. Other features of the phone include a microSD card slot, GPS, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
Samsung could launch the Galaxy A23 5G in Europe, India, the US, and some Asian markets. It remains to be seen if Samsung will keep the Galaxy A23's Full HD 90Hz display or downgrades it to an HD+ resolution panel.
