Samsung has released the May 2022 security update to the Galaxy A23 in some European countries. Other markets, including Africa, Asia, and the Americas, can get the new security update within the next few days.
The latest software update for the Galaxy A23 comes with firmware version A235FXXU1AVE4. The update is rolling out in Germany and Russia. The May 2022 security patch fixes dozens of privacy and security vulnerabilities found in Galaxy devices. The update also fixes some bugs and improves the phone's stability.
If you are a Galaxy A23 user in Germany or Russia, you can now download and install the latest software update by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install. You can also download the latest firmware file from our database and flash it manually.
Samsung had launched the Galaxy A23 three months ago alongside the Galaxy A13. The mid-range smartphone runs Android 12-based One UI 4 out of the box. It will get at least two more Android OS updates.
