Samsung has released a new security update to two more mid-range smartphones. The Galaxy A23 and the Galaxy A23 5G are getting the November 2023 security update in several African, Asian, and European countries. This update is probably the last minor update before the big One UI 6.0 update arrives.
Galaxy A23 and Galaxy A23 5G get November 2023 security update
The new security update for the Galaxy A23 comes with firmware version A235FXXS4CWK2. This update is now available in Afghanistan, Iraq, Kenya, Morocco, Nigeria, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, the UAE, Tunisia, and Turkey. The Galaxy A23 5G is getting the new security update with firmware version A236BXXS4CWK2, and it is available in Croatia, France, Ireland, Italy, Poland, Portugal, Serbia, Slovenia, the Czech Republic, the UK, and other European countries.
The November 2023 security update fixes over 65 security flaws found in the previous software version found in the Galaxy A23 and the Galaxy A23 5G. The update doesn't bring any new features or performance improvements.
If you have a Galaxy A23 or the Galaxy A23 5G in the respective countries mentioned above, you can check for the new update on your device. To do that, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also download the new firmware files from our firmware database and flash them manually.
