Samsung releases many smartphones every year. These phones range from the budget category right up to the premium flagship range. Recently, the company debuted the much-awaited Galaxy S23 series, which has really impressed the tech community. Now, another Galaxy phone is inching closer to its launch, which we have been hearing about for almost a year and a half.
The phone in question is the Galaxy A24. According to new reports, the Galaxy A24 has picked up the NBTC certification, taking it one step closer to its official release. Thailand's NBTC certification lists the Galaxy A24 with the model number SM-A245F/DSN, where the DS stands for dual-SIM. The Galaxy A24 is a 4G phone, and that is the only information you can deduce from its NBTC certification.
Galaxy A24 could be the first phone to rock a MediaTek Helio G99 SoC
Right at the beginning of this month, the Galaxy A24 4G picked up FCC approval. Moreover, the phone was also revealed to all its glory via 360-renders. Going by the leaks, the Galaxy A24 adopts the much finer Galaxy S23 design elements with minimal cameras on the back. The front, however, will slap you with the reality that it is actually a budget phone because it has a water-drop notch with thick bezels surrounding it.
The phone is speculated to be powered by the MediaTek Helio G99 SoC. It rocks a 6.4-inch AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM, and Android 13. The Galaxy A24 is expected to pack a 50MP primary camera, a 5MP ultrawide camera, and a 2MP macro camera. For selfies, the phone will have a 13MP front-facing camera. The device would be powered by a 5,000 mAh battery with 25W charging support.
