Samsung could launch two affordable phones for next year before it unveils the Galaxy S24. Today, the Galaxy A15 4G was spotted in the FCC database. Now, the Galaxy A25 5G looks like it is almost ready for official announcement. The device has appeared indirectly on Samsung's website.
Galaxy A25 5G could launch in India soon
The Galaxy A25 5G, which has model number SM-A256E, has been listed on Samsung India's website (via 91Mobiles). Looking at the model number, it can be derived that the phone has 5G connectivity and a dual-SIM card slot. Since the phone has been listed on the company's website for the Indian market, it will likely be launched in India. Another variant of this phone was spotted in the FCC database.
Previous reports indicated that the Galaxy A25 5G has a 6.5-inch screen with Full HD+ resolution and a U-shaped notch for the front-facing camera. It is said to feature the Exynos 1280 processor that is made using a 5nm process and has two high-performance CPU cores and six power-efficient CPU cores. It seems to have 8GB of RAM and a microSD card slot. The 4G version of this phone is said to feature the MediaTek Helio G99 processor.
The unannounced phone reportedly features a 50MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 2MP macro camera, and a 13MP selfie camera. The Galaxy A25 5G has a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. It will likely run Android 14-based One UI 6.0 out of the box and get at least two major Android OS updates. It is said to be priced between €300 and €400.
