Samsung's low-cost Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 are coming to another European country, Switzerland. These phones have become two of the company's most affordable this year, and prices in Switzerland start at CHF 179 ($209).
In terms of availability, the A25 is available now, whereas the Galaxy A15 will go on sale in the first half of February. Color options for both phones include blue, black, and yellow.
The Galaxy A25 5G is on sale for CHF 279 ($326). The Galaxy A15 will be available next month in LTE-only and 5G configurations. The LTE model will be the cheapest at CHF 179 ($209), and the 5G variant will set you back CHF 209 ($244).
Low cost phones with decent screens
Despite their low prices, the Galaxy A15 and Galaxy A25 boast Super AMOLED displays with Vision Booster technology. The A15 has a 6.5-inch panel with a 90Hz refresh rate and up to 800 nits of brightness. The Galaxy A25's panel goes up to 120Hz and 1,000 nits.
The two affordable phones also feature 5,000mAh batteries with 25W charging, side-mounted fingerprint scanners, 50MP primary cameras (with PDAF and OIS on the Galaxy A25), and One UI 6.0 out of the box. Furthermore, Samsung says it will provide four OS upgrades.
If you're looking for a low-cost phone in Switzerland, these two Galaxy A models are worth considering. Otherwise, if you want something more premium, you should probably wait for Samsung to announce the Galaxy S24 flagship on January 17.
