As some of you may have heard, the Galaxy A26 went on sale in the USA last week. It's the latest budget phone from Samsung, and you can now buy it unlocked for $299 outright or $12.50 a month on a 24-month Samsung Financing plan.
If you want to lower the Galaxy A26's price below its $299 retail value, Samsung's trade-in program is your best bet. Oddly enough, though, Samsung offers better deals for tablets than phones.
Samsung's trade-in widget suggests that you can get maximum savings of $200 when you buy the Galaxy A26. However, this is not entirely accurate.
We can't find any device that could get you a $200 trade-in discount on the Galaxy A26. And oddly enough, tablets seemingly guarantee better trade-in deals than phones.

Among Samsung phones, the Galaxy A35 has the highest trade-in value for Galaxy A26 buyers. The A35 is valued at $80. On the other hand, you can get discounts of up to $192 if you exchange a tablet (namely the Galaxy Tab S9+) for the Galaxy A26.
The story is similar for iPhones and iPads. On the one hand, the highest-paying iPhone is the iPhone 13, which is valued at $145. On the other hand, you can get a $181 discount on the Galaxy A26 if you trade-in the iPad Pro 11-inch (2nd Generation).
Unusual trade-in deals aside, Galaxy A26 buyers also get a few very good bundle deals on Fan Edition wearables and the Galaxy Fit 3. The Galaxy Buds FE and Fit 3 are 50% off, and the Galaxy Watch FE is 40% off.

Compared to its predecessor, the Galaxy A26 really managed to be more appealing and original. The build quality has improved, among many other things.
The Galaxy A26 introduces an IP67 dust and water-resistant build. It's the first in the A2x series to do so. The phone has a larger 6.7-inch Super AMOLED display. The design is modern and resembles more expensive Galaxy A 2025 phones.
