Samsung had revealed yesterday that it is holding a launch event on March 17, 2022, for its next-generation Galaxy A series smartphones. Since the company has already unveiled the Galaxy A13, Galaxy A23, and the Galaxy F23 5G, it is expected that the South Korean firm will unveil the Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53, and the Galaxy A73 at its next event.
Just two days ahead of the launch event, the Galaxy A33 5G has been leaked in full by Appuals. The device will come in four colors: black, blue, peach, and white. The phone features a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. The display is reportedly protected by Gorilla Glass 5.
Samsung has equipped the smartphone with a new mid-range Exynos chipset: Exynos 1280. It has 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The phone features a 48MP primary camera with OIS, an 8MP ultrawide camera, a 5MP macro camera, and a 2MP portrait camera. The phone reportedly supports 4K 30fps video recording. At the front, the phone has a 13MP selfie camera.
The Galaxy A33 5G is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 25W fast charging. It runs Android 12-based One UI 4.1. The phone is said to feature an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance. It also features stereo speakers and an under-display fingerprint reader. It has 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi 5, GPS, Bluetooth 5.1, NFC, and a USB Type-C port.
The report also claims that the Galaxy A33 5G will be priced at €379 in Europe.
