Today, Samsung unveiled three new mid-range smartphones: Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, and Galaxy A73 5G. These phones bring high-end features such as OIS-equipped primary cameras, an IP67 rating, and stereo speakers to the mid-range segment. However, they don't come bundled with the usual accessories in the box.
Yes, the South Korean firm has stopped bundling charging adapters and earphones with its mid-range smartphones. The Galaxy A33 5G, Galaxy A53 5G, and the Galaxy A73 5G don't come bundled with a charger or an earphone in the box, which means that you have to spend more to get those accessories if you don't have them in spare already.
Even mid-range phones won't come with a charger now
What's more, these phones even lack a 3.5mm headphone jack, so you are forced to either use a USB Type-C to 3.5mm headphone adapter or switch to wireless earphones like the Galaxy Buds 2. Samsung's new smartphones only come with a USB Type-C to USB Type-C cable in the box.
Starting with the Galaxy S21 series, the South Korean firm started leaving out the charger and earphones from the box. Now, that trend has touched the Galaxy A series. In comparison, most other Chinese smartphone OEMs like Honor, OnePlus, OPPO, Realme, Vivo, and Xiaomi offer a fast charger in the box.
