Over the past week, Samsung has been rolling out the August 2023 security update to several mid-range and high-end phones. The Galaxy A34 5G is the latest phone to get the new security update, and the new software is now available on the device in Latin American countries.
The latest Galaxy A34 5G software update comes bearing firmware version A346MUBS3AWH1. It is a minor software update that improves the device's security. According to Samsung's documentation, the August 2023 security patch fixes 74 vulnerabilities in the previous software version. The update doesn't include any new features or performance improvements.
You can now check for the new update if you have a Galaxy A34 5G and live in Latin America. To do that manually, navigate to Settings » Software update and tap Download and install. You can also use an alternative method to install the new software, and you would have to download the latest firmware file from our firmware database and flash it manually using Samsung's Odin tool through a Windows PC.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A34 5G earlier this year alongside the Galaxy A54 5G. The mid-range phone runs Android 13 out of the box and is expected to get the Android 14-based One UI 6 update later this year. The phone will get four major Android OS updates and five years of security updates.
