Samsung seems to be preparing to open the One UI 9.0 beta program for the Galaxy A35.

Before rolling out the stable version of its latest custom Android interface, One UI 9.0 (Android 17), to Galaxy smartphones and tablets, Samsung is expected to release its beta version for several devices. The Galaxy A35 is one of them. However, there had been no concrete evidence to confirm that—until now.
A One UI 9.0 beta firmware for the Galaxy A35 has been spotted on Samsung’s servers. It carries firmware version A356NKSUAZZH5 (via Mohammed Khatri) and strongly suggests that the brand is preparing to open the One UI 9.0 beta program for the phone, allowing its users to try the new software ahead of its stable release.
Samsung was expected to open the One UI 9.0 beta program for devices beyond the Galaxy S26 series soon after launching its latest foldable phones. However, it has been one month since the Galaxy Unpacked event, and there’s no word from the brand on the matter.
Samsung launched the Galaxy A35 with One UI 6.1 (Android 14) and promised to offer it four major OS upgrades. So far, the company has released two, with the phone running on One UI 8.5 (Android 16 QPR2). This means that after getting One UI 9.0, it will be eligible for one more major update.
