Galaxy A36 to get a massive discount during Flipkart sale

In January this year, Samsung’s decision to hike the prices of its smartphones in India marked the first time in a long while that the brand had taken such a step in the country. Since then, the company has increased the prices of its phones multiple times, with the Galaxy A36 being one of the devices affected repeatedly.

Before the price hikes began, the Galaxy A36 started at INR 30,999 and offered decent hardware for the price. Now, after multiple price increases, the phone starts at INR 36,999, making it considerably less appealing in terms of value for money. However, it will soon be available for INR 29,999 or less, giving prospective buyers a great opportunity to pick it up at a significantly lower price.

Flipkart, one of India’s two leading e-commerce platforms, will kick off the Big Billion Days, one of its biggest sales events, on October 8, 2026. During the sale, many products will be available at heavily discounted prices, and the Galaxy A36 will be among them.

Flipkart has teased that Samsung’s Galaxy A36 will be available for “2XXXX” during the Big Billion Days sale (via S M A Sithick). This suggests that people will be able to buy the phone for INR 29,999 or less. While Flipkart hasn’t revealed the exact price yet, the Galaxy A36 could be available for anywhere between INR 20,000 and INR 29,999.
