Samsung Galaxy A37
Samsung is working on multiple mid-range and high-end phones slated to launch next year. Yesterday, we covered the Galaxy A58's leaked camera specifications. Today, we have similar details to share about the Galaxy A38.
If you were hoping for upgraded camera hardware on the Galaxy A38, prepare for disappointment. According to a report from GalaxyClub, the upcoming mid-range phone will have a 50MP primary rear camera, an 8MP ultrawide camera, and a 5MP macro camera. Around the front, it will feature a 12MP selfie camera.
Those are the exact same sensors found on the Galaxy A37, which means you should not expect any dramatic image quality improvements. Any gains will likely rely entirely on software and ISP tuning. Historically, Samsung has delivered better colors, improved dynamic range, and less noise through updated image processing.
With memory chip prices on the rise, smartphone manufacturers are pulling back on camera and other hardware revisions across budget and mid-tier lineups. As a result, the Galaxy A38 may only see an upgraded processor for faster day-to-day performance over its predecessor.
