The Galaxy A50 Android 10 update is finally rolling out. Many have been waiting for this update to arrive for one of the best-selling Samsung smartphones of 2019. The ball is finally rolling on the Android 10 One UI 2.0 release for the Galaxy A50.
We reported last month that it won't be long now before this update is released for the Galaxy A50. The handset received its Wi-Fi certification with Android 10 onboard just a few weeks ago. That was a big indication that the update would be rolling out soon.
Galaxy A50 Android 10 update
Samsung is now rolling out the Galaxy A50 Android 10 update in South Korea. Firmware version A505NKSU3BTC3 is out now and is also available for download from our firmware section. It comes with the March 2020 security patch.
The firmware update brings all of the features that are part and parcel of Android 10. It also brings One UI 2.0, Samsung's latest iteration of its custom skin for Android. One UI 2.0 brings several new features as well which are explained in detail in our One UI 2.0 feature focus series.
It's only a matter of time now before the Galaxy A50 Android 10 update starts rolling out in other markets across the globe. Given the sheer numbers that this device sold, it goes without saying that millions of users across the globe are waiting for the update to arrive. It won't take much longer now.
