After Samsung launched the LTE variant of the Galaxy A51 in December last year, we had exclusively reported the company's plans to launch a 5G variant of the phone in South Korea. Now, Samsung has received the necessary certification to launch the Galaxy A51 5G in its home market.
The Galaxy A51 5G (SM-A516N) received the certification from the South Korean agency NRRA (National Radio Research Agency) yesterday. The supporting document shows the phone's model number along with the existence of 5G NR support on the phone. It also reveals that the phone is being manufactured in Samsung's factories in Vietnam. The phone had also received Wi-Fi Alliance's certification earlier this week.
